As a result, this can make starting and stopping the engine more difficult. Even worse, thick oil can also build up pressure leading to possible damage of gaskets, separation clamps, canisters, and so on.
You need an oil with lower viscosity or thickness.
The most obvious point to consider is your choice of motor oil, carcarenewsservice.org says. Because, oil that's too thin won't provide sufficient protection for your engine. Whereas, oil that's too thick will keep your engine from cranking or starting in cold weather. So be sure to check your owner's manual and choose oil viscosity accordingly.
