The Meineke Car Care Center on East Chocolate Avenue in Hershey will help you if your tires need care, repair, or replacement.

You were headed to Hershey Gardens this morning when you got in your car, turned it on and noticed your tire light had come on. You  got out and eyeballed your tires, which look okay, but you're not quite sure whether to find a tire expert to help or if you can simply ignore the light.

You definitely don't want to ignore the light. Your better bet is to test the tire pressure in all your tires.

"Tires that are not inflated properly may wear excessively, which is one of the reasons it's important to know how and when to check your tire pressure. Cars.com says tires with the incorrect pressure may lead to lower gas mileage and negatively impact your car's handling," according to allstate.com.

Checking tire pressure isn't hard. Allstate.com explains how: "Your vehicle's recommended tire pressure can typically be found on a sticker inside the driver's door. It's also usually listed in the owner's manual ... Tire pressure is measured in pounds per square inch (psi). ...

If you find a tire that's over-inflated, you can let some air out. It one or more tires are under-inflated, it's time to add some air. Or you could visit a tire care center like the Meineke Car Care Center on East Chocolate in Hershey's to have an expert tell you if there's a leak or something else that needs attention.

If that's not a convenient location, you can also find a car care brake specialist at any of the other 12 Meineke Car Care Centers in south central Pennsylvania.
